I hear it all the time, “I’m just not that confident.’ or “I’m not that photogenic.” Well, what if I told you that what you think is reality really isn’t. We are all hard-wired by society in many ways to think that we are less than and just aren’t quite the magazine perfect picture of beauty. It’s all crap.

Let me tell you why the name, Beautiful Soul Portraits. For some the name stops them in their tracks, for others they ask oh is that about her (me the photographer)- um no it’s not about me at all. Unless you refer to the part about my being a woman myself. The truth is YOU are the Beautiful in Beautiful Soul Portraits. Yes, even those who are not yet my clients. Notice I said yet. You will be, it just makes sense. My business was created just for you and women like you. My heart is for the woman who doesn’t know she is beautiful but truly longs to be. She may be a mom, she may be an employee, she may be an entrepreneur but one thing all of those have in common is that SHE works and care for others. Women are by nature nurturers and what that means is that a woman will gladly take last burner just to take care of her tribe. Does this sound familiar?

You may not know you look gorgeous but truly, a woman who sacrifices for the people she loves is the most beautiful of all. We can’t see what vibes come off of us like others do because we are not standing on the outside looking in but I am here to say that you vibe and radiate all kinds of beautiful. Sure we provide professional makeup in our sessions but that is NOT to cover you up. That makeup is there to give you the confidence that you are beautiful. The confidence capitalizes the beauty. It makes it photographable. What we believe is truth and there is truth in belief. If we believe we don’t look good, we won’t. If we believe we look beautiful, we truly are. So yes confidence is key.
